When I started training for the New York Marathon in 2023 I knew I had to get my nutrition in check.
Before that it was ad hoc, here n there, who knows.
I started tracking my calories, found out exactly what I was eating in every meal and the macronutrients in each meal.
Running up to 70 kilometres a week, I needed the fuel to train and then recovery to avoid any injuries and repair damaged muscle tissue through strength training as well.
I followed the nutrition principles of an athlete, and it got me lean, strong and over the finish line.
